HR Professionals play a key role in business success by focusing on the most important asset of a company – the people. In order to positively impact a business, you first have to show that you should be part of the decision-making team. The better you can relate to top leadership by demonstrating business acumen and an understanding of the strategic priorities of the business, the more likely you will be given the opportunity to serve as a true business partner.
Throughout this course, you will discuss current challenges businesses are facing and potential solutions that can be spearheaded by HR. You will learn the traits of a business leader, essential business concepts, the language of accounting, and how to write comprehensive proposals. You will improve your ability to communicate to business professionals and discover ways to make your recommendations concise and compelling.
