Lean Six Sigma Black Belts act as change agents in the workplace and bring considerable problem solving and project management expertise to an organization. In order to positively impact a business black belts must be able to leverage the tools and concepts in their lean six sigma “toolbox” to successfully lead projects that deliver meaningful results to the organization.
Throughout this course, students will: review lean six sigma tools and concepts, think about their organization as a collection of processes, which can always be improved; relate lean six sigma concepts to the overall business mission and objective; understand and apply the five-step DMAIC model as a framework to organize process improvement activities; and employ a wide-range of process improvement techniques.
Participants, please bring a laptop to class.
