This process improvement course is an introduction to the exciting world of continuous improvement. It’s great for recent college graduates eager to learn more about one of the hottest topics in corporate America and for working adults who want an introduction to something that is being used by businesses such as Toyota, Ford, Siemens, Amazon, Nike, and even small nonprofit organizations.
Through videos and audio-guided slides, participants are introduced to topics such as the history of continuous improvement, empowering employees, improving processes, continuous improvement principles, continuous improvement methods, continuous improvement concepts, process mapping, Kaizen (a continuous improvement method/tool deemed a prerequisite for Lean transformation success), and Lean (a continuous improvement philosophy).
The class is approximately seven hours long and 100 percent online.
