The following books will be provided in class: Achieve PMP® Exam Success and Achieve PMP® Exam Success Participant Guide.
Students MUST bring to class A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
The PMP® exam will change in June of 2020. This session will prepare participants for the current PMP® exam, prior to the June changes.
The last day to take the current version of the PMP® exam is June 30, 2020.
Starting on July 1, 2020 the PMP® exam will reflect the new exam content.

This course is intended for project managers, project leads, subject matter experts, team members, business analysts, technical specialists and others interested in the PMP credential, no matter where they are in the process. For those who are just starting out, it offers study guidelines, a framework for understanding how the exam is organized, and help in making plans to prepare for the PMP exam. Those in the middle of preparation will find guidance on program management issues and explanations of topics often tested on the exam.
If participants need that last push before taking the exam, this course provides exam tips and a good reference for key terms and topics that others have found difficult. Participants will learn testing techniques and complete sample test questions that will help them pass the exam and obtain the PMP credential. It may be appropriate for students who are preparing the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification exam (35 contact hours).
There are no prerequisites for this course. It provides 35 hours of instruction and meets the PMI education requirement necessary to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam.
